Higashi Hongan-ji & Shôsei-en — 東本願寺&渉成園
A visit to Higasi-honganji with its largest wooden building in the world, including the construction site of the southern hall. The second place was Shôsei-en, famous for a stone wall built from rests of temple stones and the garden scenery.
This program was organized by Kamogawa-kai, a volunteer organization located in Kyoto to introduce Japanese culture and peculiarities to foreigners and Japanese alike. For more information have a look at their program.
